There are 33 original Sainik schools across india.New private schools have also became sainik schools by taking admissions based on the marks kid got in AISSEE exam.E-councilling has been introduced where a kid can opt for max 10 schools out of 33 original sainik schools and 5 new private sainik schools.Depending on the marks kid will be allocated with a seat in a particular sainik school in a particuar round of counsilling.Now this school invites applications from both boys and girls.a Student has to qualify both written test and the medical test after that to take admission in to the school.
